NLP Course Lesson 11: Your One-Page Breakthrough Plan

Free NLP Course for Business Owners · Lesson 11 of 11

About 4 minutes to read · 30-minute notebook exercise

📍 Where this lesson comes from

In my 2021 coaching plan this was the session called “Final Session and Summary” (a Meta-Coaching process, 1 of the 18 hours). This free lesson is a self-guided introduction to the same topic, not the original coaching session.

Time to pull it all together. This final lesson turns your notebook into one page you can read in two minutes every morning, plus a 30-day plan to lock in the new habits.

Your one-page breakthrough plan

Fill this in from your notebook. Copy it onto one page, or print it and write on it. Short answers are best: if you can't read the whole plan in two minutes, trim it.

Your 30-day practice plan

Week 1

Read your one-page plan every morning. Use your trigger reset at least once a day. Start your two-week belief experiment from Lesson 6.

Week 2

Have your three rapport conversations (Lesson 8). Use one Meta Model question with every customer who says "we'll think about it."

Week 3

Run the movie-theater technique or the swish on one mild, everyday fear (see the safety note in Lesson 7), then do the action you've been avoiding.

Week 4

Compare your numbers with your Lesson 1 baseline. Update your WOOP (Lesson 9). Rewrite any rule that isn't working (Lesson 10).

Day 30: write down what changed, in numbers and in how you feel, and plan the next 90 days.

Keep going after the course

  • Review your plan monthly and repeat the course exercises every six to twelve months. Your map changes as your business grows.
  • Consider a coach. My own 2021 plan was built around sessions with a coach, and a good coach can help you see blind spots. Ask about their training and credentials (for example, accreditation through the International Coaching Federation), ask how they measure progress, and be wary of anyone who promises guaranteed income or "cures." For mental-health concerns, see a licensed therapist.
  • Keep learning for free. Every video, podcast and article from this course is collected in the list below.
