Koozie template sizes
Flat panel size is the whole front of the koozie. The print area is where full-color printing goes; keep text inside the safe zone, 0.125 in inside the print-area edge.

How to use the templates
Pick the tool you already design in.
Canva
- Create a design → Custom size → enter the artwork pixel size from the table (900 × 900 px for regular).
- Upload the transparent overlay PNG and place it on top as your guide layer.
- Design inside the orange safe zone, delete the overlay, download as PNG.
Photoshop / Illustrator / Affinity
- Open the SVG (vector) or the guide PNG (300 DPI, actual size).
- Add your artwork on new layers inside the dashed print area.
- Hide the template layers and export a PNG or PDF at 300 DPI.
Cricut / Silhouette / heat transfer
- Import the SVG; the print-area rectangle is your maximum transfer size.
- Keep vinyl or DTF designs inside the safe zone so nothing wraps the edge.

Paper check
- Print the PDF at 100% (no "fit to page").
- Measure the panel width against the legend to confirm the scale.
- Lay it on a koozie to see where your design lands.

What size is a koozie template?
A regular 12 oz koozie is 4 by 5 inches laid flat with a 3 by 3 inch print area per side. A slim 12 oz koozie is 3.62 by 6.5 inches flat with a 2.9 by 4 inch print area. A 16 oz tallboy koozie is 4.2 by 6.5 inches flat with a 3.2 by 4 inch print area. All three templates on this page are drawn at those sizes at 300 DPI.
What file format should I use for a koozie design?
Use the PNG at 300 DPI or the SVG. For Canva, start a design at the print-area pixel size (900 by 900 px for regular) and place the transparent overlay PNG on top to see the safe zone. For Photoshop or Illustrator open the SVG or the 300 DPI PNG. For Cricut or Silhouette, import the SVG and use the print-area rectangle as your cut boundary.
Are these koozie templates free?

Do I need a template to order custom koozies from QualityPerfection?
No. Our online koozie designer already places text, clip art and uploaded photos inside the correct print area for each size, and a graphic designer emails you a mockup to approve before anything prints. The templates are for people who want to design in their own software first or who print koozies themselves.
How do I print the template at the right size?
Open the PDF and print at 100 percent or "actual size" with scaling turned off. The panel outline should measure the width shown in the legend, for example 4 inches for a regular koozie. Lay the paper on a koozie to check where your design will sit.
